- When arranging to meet an Internet friend for the first time, always meet in a very public and neutral place (like a mall, coffee shop, or restaurant).
- Once you’ve met an online friend never go anywhere private with her until you know her better and have been out in public with her just about as often, and comfortable to you, as you have your offline friends.
